About the event
At Wells SOUP! in September, four more local charities will pitch for a share of the £700 on offer. The four worthy causes are:
City of Wells Almshouses - fundraising for the Almshouses and for elderly people in the Ukraine war zone
Children's Hospice South West - helping to make the most of short and precious lives in the South West including those who live locally
Friends of Mendip Hospital Cemetery - to preserve the site and enhance it as a public amenity and to reconstruct the fabric of the Chapel
Friends of Coxley School PTA - to raise funds to help rebuild their outside play equipment
